How much time do you take for your own self-care as you continuously show up to care for the needs of your clients? As eating disorder professionals who compassionately hold space for others often struggling with body image, it’s important that we honor our relationship with our own body in that experience. Although we guide therapeutic experiences, we are not without our own stories, struggles, and insecurities about our bodies.
This workshop offers therapists, dietitians, yoga therapists/teachers, and all eating disorder professionals a safe, compassionate space to discuss the experience of being in one’s body when working with clients who struggle with feeling comfortable in their own bodies. This workshop includes a gentle yoga practice, meditation, and journaling to offer embodied experiences and create supportive, interactive discussion. You will also learn grounding techniques to use in session and your life for your own self-care.
No yoga experience required. Space is limited.
