Teaching Yoga in Clinical Settings for Eating Disorder Recovery

Teaching yoga in a clinical setting, such as a treatment center, is different than teaching at a traditional yoga studio or wellness space. Clinical settings integrate yoga as a supplemental modality to behavioral therapies. The methodology of yoga supports clients by complementing traditional therapeutic approaches in their treatment and recovery.

Join Yoga for Eating Disorders teacher Vivian Selles (she/her/hers), ERYT-200/YACEP, as she shares her experiential expertise in teaching full-time in a clinical setting for eating disorder recovery. She will teach you the fundamentals of navigating clinical spaces as a yoga teacher.

This workshop is for yoga teachers, yoga therapists, mental health professionals, and others who are seeking guidance and support on how to effectively hold space for others in their treatment and recovery.

You will learn how to create a safer, accessible space for clients in their healing, effective class/session planning, and professionalism in a clinical space.
