Meet Helen Muller
The Yoga for Eating Disorders Community is thrilled to feature our member, Helen Muller. Please enjoy Helen's story here:
“Hello, my name is Helen and my pronouns are she/her. I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, and I love my cozy life here with my parents, 99-year-old Nana, and corgi, Lena. I was working backstage on Broadway before moving home when things shut down!
Throughout the pandemic, online resources and groups have been instrumental in supporting my recovery efforts. In addition to centering and thought-provoking classes with Jennifer, Heather, and Babette, I love taking a few moments out of each week to share time and smiles with you on Wednesday's Connection Call.
One of my latest recovery discoveries is enjoying our garden harvest and wild plant foraging, especially berries! Appreciating nature's bounty always puts me in a good mood, and though berry season is over now, I look forward to making some tasty jams and baked treats in the coming months.
You can follow my adventures on Instagram at @alaskabink. Happy fall, and be well!”
