Postpartum Yoga Therapy Group: Support, Connection, and Healing for Moms Navigating Body Image and Eating Disorder Struggles

The postpartum period can be a whirlwind of emotions—joy, exhaustion, love, and overwhelm. For moms grappling with body image or eating disorders, it can be an especially challenging time. Rapid body changes, societal pressures to “bounce back,” and the physical and emotional demands of motherhood can feel like a lot to carry.

Join us Tuesdays in February from 1 PM EST to 2 PM EST (10 AM PST - 11 AM PST) on Zoom for a 4-week Postpartum Yoga Therapy Group led by yoga therapist and new mom Keren Eshed, MA, where you can explore your emotions, reconnect with your body, and nurture your well-being without judgment. Through gentle yoga, mindfulness, and meaningful conversations, we’ll help you find tools to support your healing and embrace this transformative phase of life with kindness and care. You will also gain a supportive community of moms who understand the challenges of postpartum body image struggles.

We know schedules can be unpredictable with little ones, so you are welcome to join the live sessions on Zoom or participate via the recordings.

Who Should Participate?

Whether you’re a first-time mom or a seasoned one, this group is for moms in the postpartum period who may be struggling with:

  • Body image concerns, disordered eating, or eating disorder recovery.

  • Navigating mixed emotions—joy, sadness, disappointment, anger, and overwhelm.

  • Feeling isolated or judged for their experiences.

Note: While movement practices will be gentle and focused on replenishment, you should be over six weeks postpartum to participate. If you have specific concerns – don’t hesitate to reach out.

What You Will Learn

  • How to approach your postpartum body with gentleness and compassion.

  • Mindful movement practices to help release physical tension and reduce body-related stress.

  • Techniques for managing emotional overwhelm and regulating difficult feelings.

  • How to listen to your inner voice and quiet external pressures
