Raising Healthy Daughters in A Body-Focused World

  • Pico Branch Library The Annex Community Room 2201 Pico Blvd. Santa Monica, CA 90405 (map)

The Renfrew Center of Los Angeles invites community members to join us for an interactive panel discussion on positive body image, focusing on the relationship between mothers and daughters.

Panel members will explore the identity development of girls and women over the lifespan and highlight the influences that shape perceptions of what it means to be female in today’s culture. Our featured speaker and Renfrew alumna, Jennifer Kreatsoulas, PhD, will share her story as a mother in recovery from an eating disorder and how she encourages healthy behaviors with her children.

This is a free community event.

Lunch will be served • Walk-ins welcome
